It wasn’t until that astringent bitterness flowed into Mu Lingxi’s mouth, that he seemed to snap back, and looked up in pain at the heartbroken little person.

“You just don’t want to be with me that much?”

“I just don’t want you to treat me like this. I obviously didn’t do anything wrong, based on what should you take it all out on me?” Luo Liyan cried miserably.

“I…I didn’t want to use you to vent, I just…” Mu Lingxi distressingly kissed away the teardrop on Luo Li’s eyes bit by bit.

I just care about you too much!

He quietly defended himself in his heart, but there was no way to say it out loud.

Loving someone was not a reason for himself to hurt her.

Mu Lingxi thought of what he had done. He quickly flipped over and knelt at the corner of the bed. He lowered his eyelids, afraid to look directly at Luo Liyan.

That slightly trembling tone finally stopped Luo Liyan’s crying. She looked at the Mu Lingxi curled up in a corner and helplessly sighed.

“Then that means you like me?” Mu Lingxi raised his head, entirely devoid of the so-called pain on his face.

Deep eyes gleamed in the dark surroundings, like the glimmering of the myriad of stars that make up the river of stars.

Luo Li’s breathing grew erratic. She just felt like she was actually tricked by a single dog from the mother’s womb.¹ It was really embarrassing.

¹TN: Basically single since birth. Not having had a single romantic partner before.

“Like you my ass!” She grabbed the pillow by her hand and threw it towards Mu Lingxi.

“What’s there to be shy about here.” Mu Lingxi grabbed Luo Liyan’s hand and pulled her into his arms.

The warm big palm rubbed her abdomen soothingly in circles, causing her to lightly tremble again.

“Don’t…” Luo Liyan opened her mouth, that delicate voice that came out startled her. She quickly coughed and cleared her throat, “Mu Lingxi, don’t always get fresh with me.”

“My entire being belongs to you and you wouldn’t even let me touch you a bit?” Mu Lingxi chuckled and placed his head against Luo Liyan’s shoulder. “Perhaps Lili wanted to just mess around with me?”

The warm breath swept lightly behind her neck, slightly rippling across.

Luo Liyan jabbed her elbow against Mu Lingxi’s abdomen.

This pervert, only knows of teasing her.

“Since when did you belong to me?”

“Everyone heard it at the banquet just now. You are my fiancee, and you also didn’t refute it, isn’t that right?”

“You go roll on back from whichever way you came from!” Luo Liyan felt that Mu Lingxi was beyond shameless, “That was obviously just a way to conveniently get rid of that director for you.”

“Then do you agree?” Mu Lingxi kissed Luo Liyan’s cheeks that were puffed up like a little bun, and then bit her with a little force, biting out the puff of air that she was holding in.

“Lili, won’t you be my girlfriend? You don’t have to worry about me being like any other man. Everything I own is yours. I will only use as much money as you’re willing to give me in the future alright?”
